Pueblo firefighters are working on multiple fires on the city’s east side that broke out Wednesday evening, according to a post on social media by the department.

A grass fire along Fountain Creek had begun moving in two directions due to calm evening weather conditions, the department stated in an update at 5:46 p.m. A structure fire was minor and under control as of around 5:30 p.m.
