Son kills father, second victim in Pueblo double murder-suicide

Three people were found dead, including a suspect, after an alleged murder-suicide in Pueblo early Saturday morning.

Officers with the Pueblo Police Department found two victim’s bodies in the 1200 block of East 4th Street following reports of a shooting, picked up by the ShotSpotter program used by the city. One body was on the road while the other was inside a vehicle.

While processing the scene, police said the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office found a man in Pueblo West who they said died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Preliminary information indicates that the man was the suspect in the double homicide, police said.

The Pueblo County Coroner has identified the victims as Glenn Allen Beeman Jr., 40, and Amanda Leigh Manion, 41. The man who committed suicide was 19-year-old Glenn Allen Beeman III.

There are now five homicides that have occurred in Pueblo this year, according to police. The city recorded two homicides at this time in 2025.
