Deputies are investigating the death of a 59-year-old inmate at the Pueblo County jail on Monday afternoon, according to a news release by the Sheriff’s Office.

The man was found unresponsive in his “housing area” at the jail. Emergency responders were unable to revive him. There is no indication of foul play, the release states.

The Pueblo County coroner will release the identity of the man and his cause and manner of death.
