A juvenile is in the hospital with a serious gunshot wound after a shooting at a Colorado Springs home late Thursday night, according to police.

The Colorado Springs Police Department reported the incident in an online police blotter entry, saying the juvenile was shot by an acquaintance they haven’t identified yet.

The shooting happened at a home in the 4200 block of Morley Drive just after 10 p.m. The neighborhood is near Jetwing Drive and Astrozon Boulevard on the southeast side of the city.

Responding officers found the juvenile, who was taken to a hospital for the non-life-threatening wound.

Police have not provided any information on a suspect, or if they are a threat to the community.
