Colorado Springs firefighters knock down garage fire Saturday morning
Crews with the Colorado Springs Fire Department are identifying hot spots from a garage fire that sparked at a residence on the city’s east side.
Firefighters responded to the fire on Lehmberg Drive some time before 8:30 a.m. Saturday and knocked it down within 30 minutes, according to social media posts from the Fire Department. No one was injured or trapped inside.
The residents managed to get out uninjured because of a working smoke alarm.
