Forget New York Fashion Week. The Pikes Peak region has its own little slice of haute couture. “House of GOCA: Stardust” will feature avant-garde and wearable art by eight designers or design teams inspired by this year’s interstellar theme.

Designers include Aaron Graves, Chromatiicat Handmade, Hart & Horn, Jibwa Studio, K. Palma and Phoebe H. Boynton. Each designer has eight to 10 models, so the runway will see a lot of action. After the fashionable strut, the party will move into the Galleries of Contemporary Art where a DJ will turn the space into a dance club. It’s 7-10 p.m. Friday, Ent Center for the Arts, 5225 N.
