The Colorado Springs Fire Department is investigating the cause of several vehicle fires that sparked early Tuesday morning near the Roadhouse Cinema.

Smoke is “very” visible in the area and other parts of the city, according to a social media post from the Fire Department. The fires were reported just before 6:45 a.m. in the area of East Polk Street and North Nevada.

They were extinguished minutes later.

It was unknown shortly after 7:30 a.m. if the fire originated from one vehicle then spread, or if several fires were ignited.
