Cañon City police are asking the public to be on the lookout for an escapee from a community corrections facility who may be in the city because of his history in the area.

Richard Capek, 37, is wanted by the Colorado Department of Corrections after walking away from the unnamed facility in Pueblo, according to a news release by Cañon City police.
