Colorado Springs police said two people died in a crash Monday afternoon along Colorado 115 at the Cheyenne Mountain Boulevard intersection.

Police said the crash occurred after one of the vehicles involved drove into oncoming traffic, causing a head-on collision.

Multiple other people were taken to the hospital, but their conditions were unknown.

All of northbound Colorado 115 was closed at the intersection, and parts of the southbound 115 were also closed.
