No one was injured after a vehicle plowed through the front of the Circle K convenience store near Constitution Avenue and Powers Boulevard on Tuesday afternoon, according to a post on social media by the Colorado Springs Fire Department.

A department spokesperson wrote “these are all preventable” and told people to “stop rushing in life” on the post.

“This is exhausting,” the post reads. “Our Public Information Officer doesn’t have anything clever to say today about this today. She’s tired.”

In 2025, the department responded to 29 incidents involving a vehicle that caused significant damage to buildings and “many more” with minor damage.

Several vehicles have crashed into structures in Colorado Springs to start this year.

AI Sushi and Grill reopened a week after a vehicle drove through its entrance on Jan. 7, shattering glass and splintering wood in the restaurant, according to previous reporting by The Gazette.

On Sunday, no one was injured after a truck drove into a fence, wall and the fire danger sign outside of CSFD Station 7 near Palmer Park Boulevard and North Academy Boulevard, according to another post by CSFD. The sign had recently been replaced after being hit earlier by a different vehicle.

The CSFD account clarified that Colorado Springs police is investigating Tuesday’s crash and to “be mindful of some speculations!”
