A suspect is in custody after two Colorado Springs police officers were briefly dragged by a vehicle during a Monday night traffic stop.
The incident happened in the 500 block of North Murray Boulevard at around 11 p.m., according to an online blotter entry from the Colorado Springs Police Department.
While talking to the driver outside of the car, police said 32-year-old Anthony Lofton, a passenger, hopped into the driver’s seat and allegedly tried to drive off.
