Over 118g of fentanyl, 245g of heroin recovered after Pueblo traffic stop

Pueblo police recovered hundreds of grams of illegal substances, a firearm and cash after a search warrant was executed following a traffic stop, according to a news release by the department on Monday.

Ljeavaus Heard was pulled over on Jan. 16 by police, who allegedly found heroin, a firearm and a “substantial amount” of cash.

Detectives executed a search warrant on Heard’s residence on Friday and allegedly recovered 118.5 grams of fentanyl, 245.2 grams of heroin, 54.4 grams of methamphetamine, 6.7 grams of cocaine, a pistol and cash.

According to police, Heard is a 12-time previously convicted felon. He was booked into the Pueblo County Jail on new charges of:

– Possession of a weapon by a previous offender

– Possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture or sell fentanyl, carfentanil or benzimidazole opiate

– Possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture or sell schedule I or II drugs

– Possession of a controlled substance with conspiracy related to schedule III and IV drugs

– Unlawful possession of a controlled substance
