The Colorado Springs Police Department needs help finding at-risk 17-year-old Nevaeh Hughes, who was last seen Thursday afternoon at the Bijou School.

The Police Department said Hughes was last seen around 3 p.m. at the school, located near Constitution Avenue and North Circle Drive at 2115 Afton Way. Police believe she may have been headed to the downtown area.

She has gone missing amid an arctic blast that hit Colorado, bringing with it wind chill values that are below zero degrees.

Hughes is about 5-foot-2 and weighs around 165 pounds, police said. She has dark curly hair, hazel eyes and wears a nose ring.

She was last seen wearing a red hoodie, white pajama pants and brown shoes.
