Pop icon Bruno Mars will bring his ‘Romantic Tour’ to Colorado Springs

The Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Bruno Mars will include Colorado Springs on his new “The Romantic Tour.”

He’ll perform Sept. 26 at Falcon Stadium at the Air Force Academy. Ticket prices haven’t been announced yet. Presale tickets are available starting at noon Wednesday. General tickets go on sale at noon Jan. 15. Go online to brunomars.com.

Anderson .Paak as his alter ego DJ Pee .Wee will open, while Leon Thomas, Raye and Victoria Monét will appear at select shows.

The new tour is in support of Mars’ fourth solo album, “The Romantic,” which drops Feb. 27. It’s also his first tour in almost a decade. He last performed in Colorado in 2018 when he brought his 24K Magic World Tour to what was then the Pepsi Center in Denver, now known as Ball Arena.

Mars is the owner of 16 Grammys, most recently for his 2024 collaboration “Die With a Smile” with Lady Gaga. His last album, the 2016 “24K Magic,” won all six awards for which it was nominated, including album of the year, at the 2018 ceremony.

Falcon Stadium has been a musical playground for several big names over the last decade, including country singer Sam Hunt, who performed in 2020. Blake Shelton visited in 2017 and Tim McGraw and Train in 2016. In 2018, Jon Stewart emceed, and Kelly Clarkson sang at the opening ceremonies of the Warrior Games.
