Two people have been displaced after a fire swept through their home in southeast Colorado Springs early Saturday morning, according to fire officials.

The fire was reported just after 6 a.m. in the 2100 block of Manitoba Drive, southeast of Memorial Park, according to a social media post from the Colorado Springs Fire Department. The fire was quickly knocked down, but the home suffered enough damage to warrant displacement.

Crews stayed on scene for a couple more hours to ensure the fire didn’t reignite before leaving. No one was injured.
