A 17-year-old was seriously injured when her vehicle crossed the center yellow line and collided with another vehicle at about 7 p.m. Saturday on Highway 115 near Penrose, according to Colorado State Patrol.

The teen, who lives in Penrose, was rushed to a hospital via helicopter. The driver of the other vehicle, a 55-year-old woman who lives in Florence, was treated at a hospital for minor injuries, troopers said.

The crash is still under investigation.
