Pueblo County sheriff’s detectives charged a California man with second-degree murder after a woman’s body was found in the southern part of the county earlier on Friday.

Edgar Ramos-Garcia, 47, of South Gate, Calif., was booked into the Pueblo County jail and no bond was listed on his current booking as of publication Friday evening.

The sheriff’s office investigation is still ongoing.
