Pueblo County sheriff’s deputies arrested an 18-year-old and a juvenile in connection with several drive-by shootings last week, according to a news release by the office Monday.

Alexander Thompson was arrested and faces 22 counts of attempted first-degree murder in connection with four drive-by shootings on Thanksgiving and Friday that resulted in no injuries.

All of the shootings occurred at residences and Thompson allegedly told police he had “disputes” with individuals at each location, including two ex-girlfriends, according to the release.

Deputies identified Thompson as a suspect based on the vehicle description and took him into custody after locating him in a McDonald’s parking lot. A weapon was allegedly in plain view in the vehicle, according to the release.

In addition to attempted murder, Thompson faces charges involving illegal discharge of a firearm, possession of a weapon while under the influence and domestic violence.

The juvenile was arrested for attempted first-degree murder for being an alleged accomplice, criminal attempt and accessory to a crime.

Pueblo police are also investigating Thompson in connection to one shooting within the city, according to the release.
