Cañon City detective arrests suspect in Arizona accused of sexual assault on child
A Cañon City police detective arrested a suspect facing multiple charges related to sexual assault on a child in Arizona on Wednesday, according to a news release by the department.
Detective Michael Gordon traveled to The Grand Canyon State after securing an arrest warrant for 71-year-old John Harold Pfalzgraff, of Huachuca City, Ariz.
The alleged illegal acts took place in Cañon City and the investigation is still ongoing, according to the release.
Pfalzgraff was charged with two counts of:
- Sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust.
- Sexual assault on a child.
- Unlawful sexual contact.
- Child abuse.
