Colorado Springs Fire Department personnel quickly extinguished a vehicle fire that was threatening a structure at the Broadmoor Town Center, according to a social media post from the department.

The involved vehicle, an RV, was near the Panera Bread restaurant at 1832 Southgate Road, CSFD said. One occupant of the vehicle was treated at the scene and released. Two pets were safely extracted from the vehicle with no injuries. The nearby building was not damaged, officials said.

CSFD investigators are investigating the cause of the fire.
