Homicide detectives are investigating a stabbing at a Colorado Springs home that left one person dead and three others injured late Friday.

The stabbing took place in the 1400 block of North El Paso Street, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department. Officers arrived just before midnight and found one man and two women with life-threatening stab wounds and rushed them to a hospital.

The man died in the hospital, and the two women are being treated for their “serious” injuries, police said.

Another man and young child were also inside the home. The man was treated at a hospital for minor injuries before being taken to the Police Operations Center for “further investigation,” police said.

The young child was not injured.

No arrests have been announced. Police said all “involved parties” have been contacted.
