The Colorado Bureau of Investigation is seeking the community’s help in finding a missing 14-year-old girl who was last seen near Mitchell High School on Wednesday in Colorado Springs.

Maleena Ruth Suazo was last seen on foot around 7:30 a.m. in the 1300 block of Potter Drive. Suazo is described to be an Indigenous female with dark brown, shoulder-length hair and brown eyes.

Suazo is about 5-foot-1 and weighs 120 pounds. She is known to wear glasses and has braces.

Authorities ask anyone who has seen or knows of Suazo’s whereabouts to call 911 or the Colorado Springs Police Department at 719-444-7000.
