Colorado Springs police saw gun violence, robberies and arson last week, among other offenses, with law enforcement making 326 arrests in El Paso County.

From Oct. 19 to Oct. 25,  the Colorado Springs Police Department posted 13 blotter entries to its public database of arrests approved for release. Here is a recap of those entries:

On Oct. 19, police responded to a shooting in the 2000 block of Southgate Road. When they arrived, they found 19-year-old Devon Redden deceased on the scene. Police have not announced any suspect identities or arrests. Detectives from the Police Department’s Homicide Unit have assumed control of the investigation.

Also on Oct. 19, a driver in a sedan heading southbound on South Circle Avenue drifted into the northbound lane and struck a Chevrolet Corvette head-on. Both drivers and a passenger in the Corvette were taken to the hospital, the passenger with “serious but not life-threatening injuries.” The driver of the sedan was allegedly found to be under the influence and was arrested.

On Monday, police were dispatched to a bank robbery near the 400 block of North Cascade Avenue. Police learned that a man entered the bank and used a weapon to demand money from an employee before leaving with an “undisclosed amount of cash.”

On Tuesday, police arrested Maurice Keener, 47, on a warrant related to a bank robbery that occurred on Oct. 8 in the “downtown area” of Colorado Springs. While executing the warrant, police say they found evidence that allegedly linked Keener to the bank robbery on Monday.

On Wednesday, police arrested Rico Ramirez, 37, after he allegedly was seen driving a vehicle that was reported stolen Tuesday. Police say that when they attempted to make contact with Ramirez in the stolen vehicle, he fled. He was later arrested when the vehicle was found at a residence in the 2800 block of South Circle Drive.

On Thursday, a victim reported that they had been robbed and assaulted by several people. Police say they were able to locate three suspects shortly after, but they fled the scene. “A short time later,” police found one of the suspect’s vehicles crashed and abandoned. Using K-9 and drone units, the suspects were arrested. All three are juveniles.

Also on Thursday, the Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 700 block of North Tejon Street. When they arrived, the fire was extinguished, but they learned that an “unknown suspect” started the fire, causing “several thousands of dollars” in damage.

On Friday, just after 2:30 a.m., Fernando Juarez, 45, allegedly “forced his way” into a residence with a handgun, looking for his son. After getting into the residence, he allegedly forced two victims out at gunpoint. Juarez was arrested shortly after the incident.

On Saturday, police responded to a traffic crash that resulted in a vehicle being “fully engulfed in flames” near East Woodmen Road and Banning Lewis Parkway. Both occupants of the vehicle were able to get out before it was fully ablaze. The driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash fled the scene on foot. Police say alcohol and speed are believed to be factors in the crash.

More incidents at a glance

• On Oct. 19, a male walked into a hospital near downtown Colorado Springs with a stab wound. The victim said he was stabbed by a male but was unable to provide a possible identity or what the suspect’s motive was. No arrests have been announced.
• On Wednesday, police responded to a robbery in the 3300 block of East Fountain Boulevard. Police learned that a suspect entered a business with a weapon and demanded money before leaving. No one was injured, and no updates have been released.
• On Thursday, police responded to a head-on collision in the area of East Platte Avenue and Wooten Road. Both drivers were taken to a hospital with “serious injuries.” No other details have been provided.
• Also on Thursday, police were dispatched to a domestic dispute, which started as a verbal argument between a caretaker and someone else in the residence, and escalated to the suspect swinging a baseball bat at the caregiver’s head. Police say the suspect was arrested shortly after.
