Boy’s Soccer

The Woodland Park Panthers played two games this week. A game against James Irwin winning 6-1 and a close defeat from Atlas Prep 2-0.

Woodland Park held its annual senior night at this week’s winning game against The Jaguars. Out of eight seniors four scored, with two goals from senior Tevin James. Senior Aidan Graham shot the ball in as the game ended. The ball went in just moments too late, barely missing out on a seventh goal for The Panthers.

Cross Country

At this week’s meet Woodland Park placed well scoring third overall for the girls team, and sixth overall for the boys. Multiple runners hit new PRs during the meet.

Volleyball

Although The Panthers recent improvements Oct. 14 they were unable to match Salida, losing 3-1. Junior Cady Lally received 21 plays and Junior Bella Waak received 30 with 25 assists. The game was tight with The Panther keeping up the pressure on The Spartans

Football

Woodland Park suffered a loss from Florence 57-8. Despite a record of strong starts The Panthers were shutout until after halftime.
