1 juvenile injured after dirt bike, truck collide in El Paso County
A crash between a dirt bike and a truck near Security-Widefield on Tuesday resulted in a juvenile being taken to a local area hospital, a spokesperson with Colorado State Patrol told The Gazette.
The juvenile was riding the dirt bike, and their injuries and condition are unknown, according to Colorado State Patrol.
The crash occurred around 3:45 p.m. in the intersection of Bradley Road and Grinnell Boulevard, which was closed until 5:10 p.m.
This crash is the second in two days that resulted in a juvenile dirt bike rider being injured in El Paso County, according to previous reporting by The Gazette. On Monday, two riders were injured after crashing into each other in an abandoned golf course in unincorporated El Paso County.
