One person is dead after a car crashed into a house late Friday night on the city’s west side.

According to a Colorado Springs police blotter report, the crash happened shortly before midnight at Uintah and 22nd streets.

Police said the driver was dead when officers arrived.

The house was occupied when the crash occurred; no one inside was injured, according to police.

The police department’s major crash unit is investigating. No other details about the crash were provided.
