Cañon City man arrested after brandishing weapons in El Caporal Restaurant
Cañon City police arrested a man after he allegedly brandished a firearm at patrons of El Caporal Restaurant, according to a news release by the department on Thursday.
Around 4 p.m. on Oct. 6, Patrick Feeney, 64, of Cañon City, allegedly disarmed a patron of their firearm, took a purse and confronted several others, including two children, before officers arrived.
No injuries were reported, according to the release. Feeney became uncooperative with the police after his arrest and was booked into the Fremont County Jail.
Feeney was charged with:
- Two different counts of prohibited use of weapons
- Unlawfully carrying a concealed weapon
- Two counts of false imprisonment
- Six counts of reckless endangerment
- Obstructing a peace officer
- Four counts of felony menacing
- Two counts of aggravated robbery
- two counts of child abuse
