Two crashes resulted in lane closures on Interstate 25 near Monument on Wednesday evening, according to a post on social media by the city-operated Colorado Springs Traffic account.

Two southbound lanes were closed between exit 163 (County Line Road) and Colorado 105 (Woodmoor) at mile point 161, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

The lanes had reopened as of 8:30 p.m.

Per CSP, two crashes SB I-25 MM161, Monument, blocking traffic. Expect delays. Use alternate route.
