UPDATE: Colorado Springs police find missing girls
UPDATE: Colorado Springs police reported they found the two girls at around 11:50 p.m. Oct. 6.
Colorado Springs police found two 13-year-old girls, who were last seen leaving school Monday afternoon, according to a post on social media by the department.
Emily Crespin and Nermina Mahmutovic were last seen together around 3 p.m. as they left Skyview Middle School in the 6300 block of Windom Peak Boulevard headed east toward Peterson Road.
Emily is a female, 4-foot-9, 100 pounds. She has long curly brown hair with red highlights at the bottom and brown eyes. The post stated Emily was last seen wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans with holes in the knees, navy blue Sketchers and a black backpack printed with large red noses.
Nermina is a female with brown hair and brown eyes, and she is 5-foot-3 and 140 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, black Crocs and carrying a black backpack.
Police do not know whether the two are still together. Anyone who knows of their whereabouts can call CSPD at 719-444-7000.
