A motorcyclist who died in a crash in the 800 block of Centennial Boulevard has been identified as 27-year-old Hung Pham, according to a news release by Colorado Springs police Monday.

Police said they believe excessive speed was a factor in the Sept. 18 crash that involved no other vehicles. Pham died at the scene, the release stated.

In 2025, there have been 44 traffic fatalities, including 20 motorcyclists. At this time last year there were 39 traffic fatalities.
