4 arrested in tri-agency Colorado Springs motor vehicle theft operation
Several law enforcement agencies arrested four people in Colorado Springs during a Beat Auto Theft Through Law Enforcement (BATTLE) operation on Monday.
According to a blotter entry by Colorado Springs police, officers responded to a carjacking of a blue 2006 Jeep Liberty in the 500 block of South Nevada Avenue on Thursday.
After locating the stolen carjacked vehicle, police alongside Colorado State troopers and El Paso County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a BATTLE operation at the 3900 block of East San Miguel Street.
The entry stated surveillance units tracked the vehicle to that location, where they took four suspects into custody.
Travis Butler, 37, Brittany Flores, 38, and Tervon Harvey, 35, were arrested and charged with robbery and motor vehicle theft.
Butler also faces a charge of possession of a weapon by a previous offender. Harvey was additionally charged with felony possession of fentanyl.
Andre Burns, 45, was arrested for an outstanding warrant, according to the entry.
