Driver ejected, seriously injured in Colorado Springs crash
A driver, who rolled a vehicle several times and was ejected Friday, is in the hospital and has charges pending, according to a blotter entry by Colorado Springs police.
Police determined the driver lost control while driving southbound on North Powers Boulevard, approaching Research Parkway, and left the west side of the roadway.
The sole occupant, a 34-year-old male, suffered serious bodily injury, according to the entry. The investigation is ongoing, but the entry stated that excessive speed and alcohol are believed to be factors. Charges are pending for the driver.
