Fountain police have identified the pedestrian killed in a crash at the intersection of Colorado 85 and Main Street as 44-year-old Sharla Willer, according to a news release from the department on Wednesday.

The crash occurred around 7 p.m. Tuesday, and police found two individuals severely injured upon arrival. Willer was pronounced deceased at the scene, and the motorcyclist was transported to the hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries, according to the release.

Investigators determined the motorcyclist was traveling southbound and the pedestrian was in the northern cross walk going east to west against the crossing indicator, the release stated. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors in the incident.
