One person died in a crash between a motorcycle and a pedestrian Tuesday night at the intersection of U.S. 85/87 and Main Street in Fountain, according to police.

All southbound lanes of U.S. 85/87 were shut down, a news release from the Fountain Police Department stated.

The crash happened around 7:30 p.m., said police, who did not say whether the motorcyclist or pedestrian died.
