Two dangerous juveniles wanted after escaping from Colorado Springs facility
Colorado Springs police are searching for two juveniles who escaped from the Spring Creek Youth Services Center on Monday, according to a news release by the department.
Dameron Carbajal, 17, and Cristian Jaramillo, 17, were seen on video walking away from the facility Monday afternoon and both are considered dangerous.
Dameron is serving a five-year sentence for attempted murder, and Cristian is serving a four-year sentence for felony kidnapping. Both incidents occurred in Pueblo County.
Dameron is a Hispanic male, 5-foot-5, 150 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes and a mustache.
Cristian is a Hispanic male, 5-foot-7, 170 pounds, and has brown hair, brown eyes and a mustache.
Both were last seen wearing a grey sweater and black jeans, according to the release.
If seen, police advise calling 911 immediately. Information about their whereabouts can be directed to local law enforcement, and those who wish to remain anonymous can contact the Pikes Peak Crime Stoppers tip line at 719-623-7867.
While police are typically not allowed to release the names of juveniles, CSPD told The Gazette their escape from a state facility warrants them to under state statute.
