Bear cub found in parking lot of St. Francis Hospital
Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers responded to CommonSpirit St. Francis Hospital after a 9-month-old bear cub was found in underground employee parking, according to a post on social media by the agency Friday.
The cub was temporarily immobilized and officers brought it into a wildlife trailer. Officers put an ear tag on the cub and gave it a “wake-up drug,” according to the post.
Once awake, the cub was relocated to a Colorado Parks and Wildlife rehabilitation facility in Frisco.
