Custer County Search and Rescue assisted two people who sustained injuries from an ATV accident on the Rainbow Trail, according to a post by the organization on social media Friday.

The accident on Monday was between Hermit Road and the Commanche/Venable Trail Head.

The trail can be “tricky to ride” with its narrow and off-camber sections with soft edges. The post stated that “consequences are high” if there is an unplanned exit.
