Man killed in rollover crash in northwest Colorado Springs identified

Authorities identified a man who died when a vehicle he was riding in flipped over multiple times on a backcountry road in northwest Colorado Springs as 32-year-old Samuel Marsh.
Colorado Springs police arrived at the crash near mile marker four along Rampart Range Road after the car’s passenger had walked away and contacted emergency responders with another motorist at about 12:20 a.m. Sept. 2, according to a Wednesday news release.

First responders found Marsh dead inside the car. He was the 40th traffic death in Colorado Springs this year, according to the Police Department. At this same time last year, there were 37 traffic deaths.
