The El Paso County Coroner’s Office has identified a motorcyclist who died after being flung from his bike when he struck a curb in west Colorado Springs as Dylan Hart, 28.

City police found Hart dead near West Colorado Avenue and 32nd Street around 12:20 a.m. Aug. 31. Speed is believed to be a contributing factor in the collision, the department said in a Wednesday news release.

Hart was the 39th traffic death in Colorado Springs this year. At this same time last year, there were 37 such fatalities.
