‘Prolific offender’ jailed 26 times in El Paso County strikes again: Sheriff’s Office

A “prolific offender” who has been jailed in El Paso County 26 times was arrested again after he and his accomplice allegedly broke into a residence in an unincorporated part of the county overnight Sunday, authorities said.
Two individuals were reportedly seen breaking into a residence in the 300 block of Loomis Avenue in the Stratmoor Hills neighborhood around 12:30 a.m., according to news release from the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office. The caller told authorities that a man and a woman had been walking around the home, which is under renovation, prior to entering.

Deputies arrived to the home and found the suspects inside, arresting them without incident.
Andrew Bicknell, 45, was taken to the El Paso County jail on charges of first-degree criminal trespass and obstructing government operations. He is being held on a no-bond parole, jail records show.
His accomplice, 46-year-old Jennifer Clark, was also taken to the jail for the same charges but has since been released.
Booking records show that Bicknell has been in the county jail 26 times since 1996. He has a criminal history of felony and misdemeanor cases ranging from theft, drugs, menacing, assault and trespassing.
