A motorcyclist is dead after a collision with a midsize SUV near North Powers Boulevard on Tuesday night, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.

First responders arrived at the intersection of Constitution Avenue and Sierra Drive at around 9 p.m. and transported the motorcyclist, an adult man, and another rider, an adult woman, to a nearby hospital.

Police say in an online blotter entry that the man died in the hospital later. 

Members of the Police Department’s Major Crash Team took over the investigation into the incident.
