Man arrested for brandishing, firing gun during argument: Colorado Springs police
Colorado Springs police on Sunday arrested a man suspected of illegally firing a gun during an argument, according to an online blotter entry.
Corbin Rivera, 23, faces charges of illegally concealing and discharging a weapon as well as felony menacing, police said.
At about 6:30 a.m. Sunday, the Colorado Springs Police Department received a 911 call from someone reporting that he had been shot at in the 300 block of North Murray Boulevard. Arriving officers spoke with all involved parties and a witness, police said.
Witnesses told police that, during an argument between Rivera and his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend, Rivera threatened the other man with a gun and fired it into the ground.
Rivera was arrested and booked into the El Paso County Jail. A bail amount was not available as of Monday morning.
