A large boulder is blocking Highway 145, mile marker 75.5, after falling into the road.

According to a social media post from the San Miguel Sheriff’s office, the boulder is the size of a small car and is in the center of Highway 145 mile marker 75.5, which is about three miles north of Keystone Hill past Deep Creek shop.

Sheriff’s deputies are on the scene directing alternating lanes of traffic, and the Colorado Department of Transportation is en route with an ETA of at least 30 minutes, according to the post.

The sheriff’s office said that the reopening time for both lanes of traffic is unknown.
