Colorado is home to plenty of bodies of water that provide perfect opportunities to do everything from white water rafting to stand-up paddleboarding.

Here’s a ‘wet and wild’ road trip that will take you to some of the best places for water adventures in Colorado:

Day One: Cañon City

Start your road trip off with an exciting rafting trip down the Royal Gorge. Arkansas River Tours offers trips down the Royal Gorge stretch with non-stop whitewater and big rapids coupled with great views.

Day Three: Rifle Gap State Park

Day Four: Dillon Reservoir
