Teen seriously injured in shooting near downtown Pueblo, police say
Pueblo police are investigating a shooting that left a teenage girl with life-threatening injuries early Monday, law enforcement officials said.
Police received a 2:40 a.m. call about a shooting victim who had been taken to a local hospital, according to spokeswoman Bianca Hicks.
“The victim is a female juvenile,” Hicks said. “She is in critical condition with a gunshot wound.”

Investigators determined that the shooting took place in the Black Hills Energy parking lot, off Victoria Avenue, adjacent to Lake Elizabeth. Multiple shots had been fired in the incident, with one round striking the victim, according to Hicks.
No suspect information was given.
