Colorado Springs police are looking for a person suspected of firing a gun outside a downtown nightclub early Sunday.

No one was injured in the incident, which took place on Tejon Street, police said.

At about 1:50 a.m. Sunday, officers with the Police Department’s Downtown Area Response Team heard three to four gunshots nearby. When they got to the scene, they determined that no one had been shot.

Witnesses told police that someone fired several shots into the air during a large fight that had broken out in front of the club. The suspect was not at the scene when officers arrived.

Officers are using security camera footage to try to identify the suspect, officials said.
