Man seriously injured in stabbing in east Colorado Springs; suspects sought
Police are looking for a suspect or suspects in a stabbing that took place in east Colorado Springs early Sunday, law enforcement officials said.
Firefighters and medical personnel responded to a 1:55 a.m. call about a stabbing in the 1800 block of North Academy Boulevard, between Constitution Avenue and Palmer Park Boulevard, where they found a 31-year-old man with a stab wound to the upper torso, police said.
The victim was taken to a hospital and treated for internal injuries that were initially assessed as life-threatening, but his condition is currently listed as stable and he is expected to survive, officials said.
No suspect information was available as of Sunday morning.
