Man with auto theft history accused of stealing motorcycle
A two-time convicted auto theft offender was arrested Friday after allegedly stealing a motorcycle in Colorado Springs, officials said.
Colorado Springs resident Jerrid Dominguez, 40, was taken into custody after a man believed to be him was caught on video stealing a blue 2019 Kawasaki ER650, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.
Police spotted Dominguez driving the stolen motorcycle near Querida Drive and Uintah Street, not far from The Citadel mall. He was detained after a short foot chase.
He is being held at the El Paso County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
