Sections of South Academy Boulevard will have full overnight closures this week as the Colorado Department of Transportation expands a section of the road from two to three lanes.

On Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, there will be overnight, full closures of South Academy Boulevard between Milton Proby Parkway and U.S. 85 and 87, from 6 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

On Wednesday, there will be an overnight, full closure of South Academy between Bradley Road and Fountain Creek, from 6 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

On Thursday, there will be an overnight, full closure of South Academy between U.S. 85 and 87 and Interstate 25, from 6 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

Next Friday and Saturday, there will be intermittent closures of on-ramps and off-ramps from South Academy to I-25, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.
