Editor’s note: The repairs were completed at 9 p.m. Thursday. Southbound lanes have reopened, with northbound lanes remaining closed until repaving is finished Friday. 

North Murray Boulevard, between Valli Vista Road and Maizeland Road, is closed Thursday because of a water main break.

A Colorado Springs Utilities spokesperson said it is unclear what caused the break, but crew members are working to fix it. The main is expected to be repaired by 10 p.m. Thursday, followed by a repaving of the road Friday.

Fifty-eight residences along Murray Boulevard and side streets are without water, the spokesperson said.
